DOS Games Discussion

I have a problem with kyrandia 3:the dialogue text only appears on the screen for a second,maybe less than that,so I can't read it.How can I make it to stay on the screen longer?Please help me,I really love this game,and I really want to be able to play it...Thanks!

Right-click on the game's EXE (or COM or BAT) file, click Properties, click the Programs tab, then uncheck the "Close on exit" check box. Then try running the game again.
