DOS Games Discussion

Hi! I'm trying to remember the name of this game that I played a long time a ago. It was a medieval Fantasy PC game and it was a type of RPG. There was a HUGE map and a LOT of random dungeons and places you could go without following the storyline. They had the normal races I think but they also had a cat type race that was good at stealing and a lizard race. You could join differnt guilds by getting arrested e.x. if you got caught shop lifting or whatever the guild would get into contact with you and could make you a member. It was pretty fun and I'd like to find it again. If anyone knows what game I'm taking about would really like to know thanks!!!

It sounds like one of the Elder Scrolls series ... I know that Morrowind (the latest in the series) includes both lizard men and cat men ...

Probably irrelevant (since this post is so old), but I think it sounds like Blades of Exile.
