Space game...

I am looking for a game, where you were in space. At start you selected race (there were MANY), and then you built structires on planets, conquered other planets, or buy an army of other ships to help you, or a defensive sattelite. It was 2D, top down look. You could play multiplayer up to 4 (i think, or 8...) human players on same PC + computer...
Anyone? Just give me the name, I HOPE I can find a link...

Do a google search for 'Galactic Conquest' games, there are quite a few of them. Space Empires is one such series. Also, try 'Galactic Civilization", though I don't think it's the game you're looking for.

Its either Space Empires 2 or 3 or Master of Orion 1 or 2.

Sounds more like Space empires though.
Did u design ships?

In Space Empires u could build satelites.
