Please help me remember the name of an old game!!!!

Hi,
I'm looking for a game demo I played in the 1990's. Basically you had to build a machine from components like hamster wheels, elastic bands and basket balls in order to fulfill a purpose. Now I'm sure that the word machine was in the title.
Please help because this is driving me nuts!!!
