How do I run 4d prince of Persia cheat code?

Pardon my asking a basic question. I play 4d Prince of Persia in Windows ME. I found out what the cheat code is, ("prince megahit") but I have no idea how to use it. I know nothing about using DOS except how to get a prompt. Could some kind soul walk my ignorant butt thru this?

It's not Megahit in 4D Prince of Persia, it's something else but I forgot.

Okay, it's not "prince megahit" it should be "4d_prin kirill!".
But where do I type this?
If I open MS-DOS window I get prompt:
C:\WINDOWS>
typing it there doesn't help, what do I do?

What you did definately wouldn't work unless your file was named 4d_prin and it was in the windows folder in your c drive.
Maybe you're unfamilar with Dos.
Okay, here is a step by step:
Assume that your Prince of Persia 4D file is called "4d_prin.exe" and this file and the related files are in your c drive in a folder called "POP4D" (if not, change the names in the steps below where neccesary):
Go to Dos.
You mentioned it appears as C:\WINDOWS> , type cd\ and it becomes C:>
At C:\ , type cd POP4D and it becomes C:\POP4D>
At C:\POP4D> , type 4d_prin kirill!
Another way is to create a bat file with the words "4d_princ.exe kirill!"
