LATHERING YOURSELF IN BUTTER...... confusion confusion

Post by Cakephatt »

I was wondering if anybody knew how the !$#@ to set up a functioning ICP protocal for Windows XP. I just got this computer and am running DSL. I can't get any of my online games to work, doom connector, or my starcraft. I have tried the setting up a new connection thing, but it still does not work. I feel ickish... and stupid.

I-ANAL is a Usenet and chat abbreviation (acronym) for "I am not a lawyer." A similar abbreviation, TINLA, stands for "This is not legal advice."

Every time I try running a game except starwars: JK outcast 2 I keep getting the message that I don't have a functioning connection or that the server cannot connect. I just assumed that it was a ICP connection, but it still doesn't work. The games i am trying to run are: Tibia, Fallout Tactics, Starcraft, and a couple other of tibia like games. I was also wondering how to install an Internet Packaging exchange and if i could download anything. Is anything reccomended?
