I guess this must a game from 90's , as I remember playing it on 286 machine.
Don't even remember the name....
I think it used to run in Dos Based mode.
When one logs to the game, you go to " Hall of Fame" , then they assign you some Detective name and give you one more person as your detective friend and a case to solve.
Case is something like a thief who steals something from someone and has ran away and your task is to search him .
He keeps of running to different countries.
Game also had a map of the world in a smal square on next screen when your search starts. Then they provide you few names and discriptions of suspects to start with.
There you have to trace the thief from the hints game provides.
Game also used to provide hints about thief's appearance to shorten the list.
One needs some Geographical knowledge also to reach to the countries thief is running to.
Then if you catch within the certain limit, you reach to the Hall Of Fame , where you are awarded with something.
If you lose, they say the time limit is over and thief ran away , you are assigned another task, if we want to continue.
My request to all is , if someone can help me with the name of this game?
However hard I hv tried, failed to recall the name.
Also would love, if someone tells me where it's available.
