Can't remember the name of a game...help me find it

I'm looking for a game that I thought was called "venture". I have looked for venture but can't find anything on it so I believe I have the wrong name.

The game had no graphics, just a prompt that described where you were at. You had to type commands for the person like "go to the river" and the comptuer would spit out, "your standing at the edge of the river"

The only other thing that I can remember is that I would eventually make it to an underground maze and little dwarfs will throw knives at me and kill me.

i do remember an executable file called venture so it might as well be

i am pretty darn sure cause i have the third one

they were like ninjas or somthing but they live in like a hut the game was by konami it was for either snes or sega barely remember the game i played as a kid i really have no clue what it was called
