DOS Games Discussion

hey my site is very basic but here it is

It has got a link for links to games but i will be adding a forum in a week or so.

1) Get a better design
2) Describe/review the games on your site
3) Get more games, you only have 4 games on there.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 1.

Here are some problems:

• It un-maximizes my browser.
• It crashed Firefox the first time I viewed it.
• I got some message saying I needed a Quicktime plugin. I hate embeded music
• The jokes aren't funny.
• At all.
• Seriously, they're not funny.
• There's a "menu" consisting of only two things, "Home" and "Links to Good Games". It's unnecessary.
• Transparent .GIFs with white borders.
• The title is the URL, even including the "http://"
• It's not particularly asthetically pleasing. It looks dull and amaturish.
• In the other page you make very weird and improper use of capitalization.
• A forum would be a bigger waste of space.

On the plus side, I would rather spend time at that site than goatse or tubgirl.

The site is okay but needs a bit more games and design. Oh yeah and the music kicks @$$!

Dope all you were trying to do is find problems.

But i will add reviews of the games and add more. If you think the background should change then i will change it.

Sorry, I thought you wanted us to tell you what we thought of it. I was just offering constructive critisism.

Your site is pretty much the same except for the weird, leafy background. It still crashed Firefox the first time and mysterously un-maximizes my browser.

What I meant is not to try to find all the problems about it but just saying if it is good or not.

Dont apologize, you gave a very short list of problems. I could find more than that. And man, get rid of that gay music.

I was being sarcastic, hence "I thought you wanted us to tell you what we thought of it." in the thread entitled "Tell Me What You Think Of My Site".

I know dope, that you were being sarcastic. Besides the spelling and grammar, which you think ruins everything, i couldn't find any other problems noticeable that AFFECT the site and besides it's just a start on it and i'll be adding new things.

No... he meant that specific line was sarcasm. The entire list is true, that stuff is what makes it garbage. Notice I stopped being nice after you told dope off for doing what you asked. If you want to know whats wrong, then take what we tell you.

ya, it never crashed firefox on me, but that frigging JS that shakes the window is retarded... The music is okay, b/c you can pause it and such... change the Title to somthing more catchy. Other than that, it's decent.

and one last note:

What in the world did you use to design this?

The page loads too slow and crashes on most browsers.

How fast does it load on your browser, buddy? (without "previewing" it with that software)

Its the music that slows it down. Just write it in HTML.

The game page of the "new" site is much better, but the site still has problems

- Don't use a templet design, make your own
- Make the design consistent throughout the site(the background color changes)
- Make the game titles stand out. like bold
- Make seperators between games

I would also suggest bigger reviews and a seperate page for each game. Good luck.

Also, dont make your site name www.funjokesandgames.com if that is not your domain name.

it takes about three seconds for the page to load on my pc. And I will attempt to try to do at least a fraction of your suggestions. But one I will not do is a put one game on one page then it'll look like Icy Tower Download.. Then the next link would be Highway Pusuit Download. It just wouldn't be that good looking.
