Howdy
Well i just remembered that i had 'Z' by the Bitmap Brothers stored away in my cd rack and decided to that i wanted to give this game another go.
So i installed it and then i got nothing...
I looked at alot of 'guides' on the net and all that stuff, so i thought id ask for help. Basically it runs the first opening movie of the makers of the game, then it just stops. No error message or anything
so any help at all would be appreciatd.
TIA

Stops..? as in hangs? or just closes?
If it just closes, right click on the exe, select properties, select the program tab and uncheck the box saying "close on exit". THen try the game again. Then it may give you an error rather than just closing.
if hanging - m..need to think on that one again. What Operating System are you running it on? Sure you installed it correctly? Have all the files you need? If it is an abandonware download then most of them are ripped without the opening sequence and it needs to be installed to C:\Z but if it is a legit cd then you can probs install it anywhere you like

Thanx for the reply
Nah its the full cd (legit copy) I'm running XP Pro havent installed SP2 yet. The game installed without a hitch and setups fine (eg finds video card and i can hear sound when i test it, although the music doesnt work
)
It just closes and goes back to the desktop, i have already unchecked the box that you are talking about and i still get nothing
I've tried the window comptability mode settings and it seems to make the computer think abit more but then it just goes back to the desktop anyways
TIA

Hello man.. Try Dosbox 0.61
cycles 8460 (Optimal, Test yourself)... add that to configs.. and give it a run.. it won't stick any longer for you then, but there will be issue with the Level Ending animation which probably won't show everytime... and loading times might be big.. anyhow this has been tested and works..
