I use to play this old DOS star trek it had a grid where you whould go to different sectors on the grid. Land and investigate planets. You would enter in line commands to perform certain tasks. If anybody know where I can find it?

There is a list of Star Trek games being assembled at the TrekPulse Gaming section (
http://gaming.trekpulse.com/).
If you select the game listing 'by platform', you may recognize the name of the game that you seek as the exhibits for each game have yet to be completed.

Is there a way to operate the Star Trek Federation Compilation on Windows XP? I'm able to run old DOS games like Sam and Max, but not any Interplay titles. I recently received the Compilation, including Judgment Rites and 25th Anniversary, but after installing, I am unable to actually play the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is a complex, though common, problem without any specific solution. Your best chance is probably to download the Windows version of the "DOSBOX" emulator and run both of the games under that. BE SURE TO READ THE INCLUDED INSTRUCTIONS, however:
