I sorted out the video problem but i now have another problem

this is the message that comes up in dosbox when i run toonstrk.bat

"ERROR: Drive C: is not a CD-ROM Drive.
You may need to reinstall or edit 'TOONSTRk.CFG' to set 'CD = ?:\' ,
where?is the drive letter of your CD_ROM Drive.
Continue? (Y/N)"

if i choose yes it starts loading up but then asks for disc 1, so i edited it to the D:\ drive which the same thing happend except it saying Drive D and not Drive C and also the same thing happens with Drive E

y is it still thinking it is not a disc drive

In DOSBox you can mount a drive as a CD drive. e.g. if your game was in C:\games\toon and you wanted to mount it as a cd drive do this:

mount d c:\games\toon -t cdrom

Now the D drive is a CD-ROM drive with the contents of C:\games\toon in it ;)

Thanx DarkMystic it doesn't moan about it not being a disc drive anymore but when the game loads it is still asking for disc1 altho it is in the drive

In which case we're getting closer. Ok I don't have access to the game (a download or the money to buy it :p) so I can't do much here other than guess for you. Ok, we'll take an example where the game is in C:\games\toons. ok?

Edit C:\games\toons\Toonstrk.cfg
Set CD = D:\
Make sure you save the file as text only.

Now right click on C:\games\toons and select properties and make sure none of the files are read-only. (can cause problems with many games so I like to check - you can try it with and without this step if you wish :))

Open dosbox and type:
mount c c:\games\toons
mount d c:\games\toons -t cdrom
c:
(now type the executable file for toonstruck e.g. toonstruck.exe)

Now what does it say? Also I notice you are running a batch file 'toonstrk.bat'. Can you edit that file in notepad for me and let me know what it says. It may have something restrictive in it. One doesn't know until one edits them :) Sorry I can't help more than to guess :(
