Futuristic hovercar mission-based game with a top-down view

Post by Runner1979 »

This is a game out of my childhood that I have been looking for and have had no luck as of yet locating. The basic storyline is you are a female cop in the future who rides around in a hover-type car running missions. The city itself is a grid of buildings that you have to maneuver around with exits at the north, south, east, and west. There are different missions and in between them there are cut scenes of just pictures and text.

I remember one such scene showing how her father, also a cop, was killed in an explosion when she was just a little girl, in front of her eyes.

There was a group of some people (may have been terrorists but you have missions trying to protect them) call Egg. One chapter was named "Egg gets scrambled".

Later in the game, you get a helicopter in some missions, which in almost last mission of the shareware version, it explodes (sabotage) and you come back as an android.

There was also one cop who was always trying to hit on the girl. One scene cut away and came back with him bandaged up, black and blue face with black eyes.

Sorry to be so wordy, just wanted to get as much detail out as possible. Thanks in advance.

Well, I played it till I beat epsode one this morning and yes, this is still a great game :) I was wondering if anyone had any information on where to purchase the full version. I tried various online resellers, ebay, and http://www.epicclassics.com with no luck :( Just wanted to see if anyone had an old copy they would be willing to sell etc...

Thanks,
Mark
