Post problems with getting games installed and running properly here.
Edit:I have Windows 98 but I get no sound in any DOS game
I have absolutely no sound in Descent. My sound card is not on the list that the game has, and when I try to have it search for the card, it terminates the program. No music, no sound, nothing.

I'm not sure what to do next. Here is the line on DOSbox
Z:\>MOUNT C C:\Games5\Descent
Drive C mounted as local directory C:\Games5\Descent\
Z:\>
Now what?

hold down ctrl+f12 (ups cpu cycles)

Sounds like you don't have a MS-DOS compatible sound card, I would try playing Descent via Windows 98.

Indeed it seems like this card is not MS-DOS compatible. I'd ask you if it's ISA or PCI, but I doubt you'd be able to tell me. It's also the first time I heard of it, so it's probably a crappy card. If you have ISA slots on your motherboard, get a Creative ISA card and you'll be able to play all the DOS games you'll ever need with sound.
