If extension is exe/com, add followin' line to autoexec.bat:
c:\mouse\driver.com
If sys, to config.sys:
device=c:\mouse\driver.sys (if expanded memory manager is set up, use devicehigh= instead o' device)
Thou MUST know correct directory and driver! Use command 'dir' to check.
Thou Hath tryith that

if you still have the old mouse why not try to rewire it?
its easy and safe.
Just match the wires and then twist each one and cover with electric tape
I don't know what wires match each other
