Just run a search for the titles.

All they have are the programs that allow you to install it. You still need the disk

What do you need the disk for? I got the games running on my computer anyways. Or are you asking about where to buy them???

Most of those games can't be bought anymore, but if you want to you should do a search for "The Learning Company" and go to their store. You may find a couple of the remade versions.

I don't want to buy the game...but the Operation Neptune that you download from off of there says that you have to put in the disk to install it. Any ideas how to get around it?

OH! Sorry my bad...didn't know that. In fact I didn't get all the games...only treasure mountain, midnight rescue, etc. Didn't try those later games...I assumed that they would be the same. Damn. :shame:

But...good question though. I was about to download Operation Neptune to check it out. Guess we're in the same boat now cuz I have no clue how to get around it...yet.

EDIT: I just posted in their forums about it. Knowing them when it comes to games that need a disk they won't bullshit about it and would instead point to a place to buy it rather than hosting disk hungry install files that'd waste people's time. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

Disk hungry? It's only 6 hundred and something KB... lol. I'll take a look at it and see if I can get it. There may be anopther .exe or .bat file in the download that cracks this. If not, I'll work at it for as long as I can and see if I can work out a solution for you two.

Alright... here's what I have so far.

<list>
<li>Clicking INSTALL does in fact not work and DOES ask for disk.
</li>
<li>ON.exe seems to run something graphically, but I'm not too sure what more... it seems to freeze on that picture for me.
</li>
<li>OPNEP.bat seems to do the EXACT same thing as ON.exe
</list>

Now I'm gonna try using XP's compatability wizard to see if I can get anywhere else with this.

Alright I went ahead and downloaded the game myself to see what I could do.

Dude, don't bother using the install file. Just click the ON.exe and it'll run it automatically.

Edit: Anyone know how to change the music? I don't want it playing out of my computer speakers. Same thing for my commander keen games.
