dosgames.com site update July 10th 2004

Post by emmzee »

Straight from <strike>the horse's</strike> my mouth (ie the front page of the site) here is the news about today's update:
A total of eight (wow!) new games added today ... including, oddly enough, the first two miniature golf games ever added to dosgames.com. So, if miniature golf is your thing, this is your day! :) The new games added are: Adventure Fun-Pak, Beat the Bomb, Big 2, Fuzzy's World of Miniature Space Golf, Poko Memorial Miniature Golf, Puzzle Fun-Pak, Roxx and Save Our Pizzas. Download and play until you pass out by visiting the <a href="http://www.dosgames.com/g_new.php">Newest Additions</a> page. Hope you like 'em!
Dat is all. As usual post about any errors I made etc etc. Thank yas. ^_^

Also special thanks to Wally*Won_Kenobie for contributing the CD that contained several of these new games which are largely unavailable on the web afaik. :)

You should resize the screenshot for Puzzle Fun-Pack emmzee. It's still 640x480.

for the rest, everything looks fine here and everything works :)

Lol I remember Fuzzy's World...tricky ass game. It came with this shareware pack that I bought at spencers back when I was younger that included One Must Fall 2097, Electroman, Ancients, and this weird elf puzzle game where you had to collect hearts. Memories...

Typo in Fuzzy's....

"This miniature gold game " should say GOLF instead of GOLD.

Grammatical error in Fuzzy's: "a lot of time and effort were poured" replace WERE with was. You SHOULD be say ing "A lot of time was poured into this game. A lot of Effort was pured into this game" which is shortened to "A lot of time and effort was poured into this game"

(I should write the Microsoft Grammatical error report in Office... haha)

 Excellent copy and paste job on the Fun-packs

Save Our Pizzas typo

"Save Our Pizzas is another in the line of Copysoft games featuring their"
change to
"Save Our Pizzas is another <b>title</b> in the line of Copysoft games featuring their"

For future reference, advertising your new forum (or advertising anything else, for that matter) in totally unrelated topics is definitely not allowed. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate people posting ads in your forum in inappropriate places. Please don't do this again.
