Display problems in Neuromancer running in Win2000

I recently downloaded Neuromancer, you all know the great classic game. I have problems in playing because all the texts in the game are fuzzy and unclear. I have SP4 installed and my display adapter is ATI Mobility Radeon 9000. I've tried all the different settings in the .exe properties but it hasn't helped. If you have the knowledge, please enlighten me. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip JMS but the TSRFONT didn't work, the text is still scrambled. I'm not sure if I did right but I think I followed the instructions correctly. I downloaded the .com file and ran it and then ran the Neuromancer --> text still scrambled.
