looking for a game, don't remember the name :-(

hello there,
i'm a girl in trouble ;-)
I remember playing this really cool game as a kid (in the 80's, maybe 90's) but i just can't remember the name. I don't even know if it was on DOS or not.
Here's some stuff i do remember: it was a game about 2 armys fighting to captures eachothers flag.
You had a numer of tanks, jeeps, helicopters, ... at your disposal, but you could only use one at a time. you chose one in a screen that had pictures of all the vehicles and the bullets you had in them.
your ennemy also had a military base with walls and turrets, hidden inside was the flag.
When you screwed up, a skull appeared with the letters 'game over' and the damned thing laughed.
I know that's not much information at all to know what i mean, but i hope somewhere in here someone else played it before and loved it enough to remember it, like me.
Please let me know if you know what it's called so i can find it,
