hello, I want to buy Monkey Island games 1-3 and I was wondering if the first two episodes have sound, not music but dialoges like in MI3

No...they don't have dialogs like MI3. It's text. It's annoying and you have to read. The graphics are pretty shocking too... but ah! Monkey Island. I have the complete series. Hav you played the first 2 before...?

Yeah, you need to read 1-2. It wasn't a problem for me beacuse I'm not an illiterate clod.

dang... i really had my hopes up...
I downloaded MI3 from Kazaa(piracy piracy!:laugh: ) but it doesnt have dialogs... so im buying it
i have tried MI and MI2 once, i loved them but i thought they might have sound...

You can buy all 4 Monkey Island games in a pack off the LucasArts site, if you still want to do that.
Personally, I suggest Piracy since i'm Anti-LucasArts after they canned Sam and Max 2.

I am the biggest Monkey Island fan ever!!!!
Exept I have never played nr 1. I own nrs.2 and 4
and I had nr 3, but I sold it!

If you sold the third one and haven't played the first I don't think you can call yourself "the biggest Monkey Island fan ever".

My guess is that he thought you were talking about the member Wally*Won_Kenobie/Wally4000 instead of the character.
