Actually you should probably not use wireless for old games as they probably dont read USB.

Nearly all the DOS games downloaded from this site don't or should I say won't work with USB mice or keyboards, you will have to install a keyboard into the keyboard slot on the tower, and mouse into the mouse slot of the tower.
If you don't have these you will need to purchase them from a computer store, and they are quite cheap so they won't break the piggy bank.

the problem is the USB. DOS can't recognize USB perps. You need to either A) buy PS/2 or

Get USB to PS/2 convertors. AFAIK the convertors work fine in DOS.

hello....
I have PS2 mouse and keyboard but DOS games don't work.
I tried Mario (coz I actually want to play it) and Dave (just a random choice since Mario don't work and I'm trying to see if others work).
By "don't work" I mean the keyboard doesn't work. Not sure about the mouse as I don't think those 2 games use mouse anyway.
Please reply. Thanks.

Are you running these games in Windows or pure DOS mode?

Does it need to be serial? Isn't PS2 good enough?
It's WinXP Pro and I just double click the game EXE from within Windows.
Only 1 of my computers has that keyboard problem. The others work fine.
I tried swapping the KB but no reults... [they are all PS2]
Thanks for helping

I have yet to see a DOS game that doesn't work with PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mice. It would have to be a really old DOS game or a really crappy one.

Keyboard handling SHOULD be run through the BIOS.

That's just a programming thing, when a game is made, it should get its keyboard input through BIOS instead of DOS or direct access, to allow for many different keyboards to be compatible with the game.
