DOS Games Discussion

I am looking for a old game probably older than 10 years....I dont remember much but i think i had to type hero.exe to be able to play it....so therefore I think the name of the Game must be Hero. I also remember that I was walking in the woods and could meet different creatures that I had to fight or I could use the command run....another thing I remember is the one command: "climb leg." This command was used to get into a house/cabin where a which was located. If somebody have or knows where to find the game I would appreciate it ALOT.

This game sounds like Hero's Quest. Its called Hero's Quest and Quest for Glory 1. I'll find a site soon.

Ok. I found a site but its abandonware. c2-h5-oh I need your email adress or for you to register on this fourm so I can give you the site. Also might I add that this is a great game thats worth taking a look to all you who haven't played it yet.

I have a really great game named Hero, but it doesn't sound like what u r looking for. Its a turn based RPG, and you run around in dungeons casting spells.

It is not the game that I as looking for....it wanst that much reading but more moving the player from place to place with the arrows, kinda like keen in the early states. And when i wanted my player to do something I had to type commands like climb leg, run, or climb tree. If you could do some more reasearch it would be nice.....couldnt have been much reading since I was only 7-8 years and couldnt speak english...just got the commands to use when somebody I knew showed me

i'm probably stating the obvious, but sounds to me like a seirra type game (i.e. LLL)

sounds like Heroes quest III (i think) the subtitle is "So you want to be a hero?"

I have the orginal Diskettes for it (it works great on my 1989 tandy!)

Can you post a link where i can download hero? that was an awesome game and i lost it with a computer crash like 5 years ago. i cant find it anywhere. that would be great if you could.
