Blue Sky Software (better known as Looking Glass Studios)
Ultima Underworld 1 and 2 and System Shock 1 were DOS, and all very good.

...Eye Of the Beholder 1,2&3, Anvil of Dawn (considered by some to be the best RPG ever made), Pools of Darkness, Star Command, Dark Sun 1&2, Dungeon Hack, Panzer General 1&2, Panzer General 3 (Scorched Earth), , the Ravenloft games, Neverwinter Nights,, Sword of Aragon, and many, many more.

1&2 of Eye of the Beholder? Westwood Studios was a developer for SSI. SSI produced and published the games.

Because DOS generally refers to MS-DOS, not whatever the Atari computers used.
