looking for a game my late grandma used to play

Hello! This game isnt before the 2000s, but it meant a lot to me so bare with me. When I was younger (between 2009 and 2012) my grandmother used to play a game on her pc that i've been trying to find for years. She passed away in 2012 and my mother and I've been trying to find it since then. It was a winter survival(?) game, had a cabin and if i remember correctly she had a pet fox. There was also fishing and bear hunting in the game and that's all I can remember really. She had some old pc but i remember the game had good graphics? I know this isn't a lot of information but maybe something rings a bell. It was a peaceful game that she used as an escape from her cancer, and it would really mean a lot to both me and my mother if anyone could help me find it. Thank you in advance
