Mid-90s DOS tank/vehicle on alien world, multiple CDs

Hello, New here. From what I remember I ran this through DOS, the computer I had was Windows 3.1 ..... I did not get a win 95 based computer for some years after.

I have a game from the Mid 90's that I just cannot remember. This is what I know...

It was a tank\vehicle game
alien world
not open world, very limiting movement (kind of like a Myst game)
Game tittle was very weird to pronounce
4-5 CD's

Something like Assault Rigs? Did you move around in a maze? Or was movement entirely grid-based?
