It's a DOS game in 1980s.
In each level, the background is still. Your aim is to move your avatar from the starting location to the exit.
In order to do this, you need to get rid of various obstacles and solve puzzles.
IIRC, the game has totally about 7~8 levels. The first level is a forest. One level has dragons flying.

I also saw a simpler shareware game called L. Runner II, which may not have enemies, only treasure to collect, but there are not enough screenshots to be sure. You climb vines in the few pictures, not ladders.
