I can't remember the details so much but you had to buy a certain amount of household items and work in a job etc and you could study to get better work, the groceries you could buy in advance depended on whether you had a fridge or freezer. You could also purchase lottery tickets etc.
For the life of me I can't remember all the context but I just started thinking about it tonight and it's doing my head in.
I think it was on pc but i cannot be certain.
