2000s Top-Down sci-fi shooter, horse like creatures [Zax: The Alien Hunter]

So, hi guys, I am looking for an old game for months now. I dont know the name, the publisher and the exact year. I have the story (more or less) some image and I think I have played with it in 2006-2007 on my Pentium 4 from CD.

So sci-fi, we are in the space, then the spaceship crash on a planet. The protagonist is an alien humanoid, brownish skin, deep voice and no nose.
After the crash we met the horse/donkey-like locals who are enslaved by robots and those robots are needed to die. We have a lot of kind of weapons, laser, normal ammo, special ammo etc. The game perspective is top down, the map is vast and there are many puzzles. The weapons can be unlocked by shiny colourful minerals, which are needed to be gathered thru the game.

This is what I can recall, I hope someone can guess the title from this

May be it is a one word title but I am not sure.

Guessing: Zax: The Alien Hunter

There are no screenshots of the horse-like aliens, but the story seems similar.

btw, looking at a youtube video from the game, the 'Korbo' aliens had humanoid bodies with horse-like heads.
