1v1 online chess-like game on Miniclip

Hey!

I'm looking for an old game that used to be on Miniclip. It's a 1v1 online chess-like game but the chess pieces could do more than the original game of chess (like move more spaces or attack at range). If I recall correctly, you could also edit your team before a match begins so you and your opponent would almost never have the same units. The logo that you would see on Miniclip would show golden chess-like pieces on a chess board.

I tried using the wayback machine to look through the strategy section of Miniclip throughout the years but I had no luck finding it... I don't think it was a very popular game since even back ~10 years ago I would have to dig for it on Miniclip. For years this game had eluded me but hopefully someone here can help!

Thanks for trying but neither of those are it.

I remember fairly old graphics (pixelated 3D art) and very distinctly gold colored chess pieces (for one player).
