DOS Games Discussion

Hi,

I've been looking for years a game that I had in demo for DOS/Win. I've played this between 94 and 2000. Here's what I remember about it : it's a 2D game overview perspective with some sort of cavemens/villagers you can build small huts where you can look inside. I figured out back then there was a cheat/bug you could spam clicking villagers when they are in bed doing babies and they reproduce more than once. I also remember in the demo there was no threat, no enemies.

At this moment I cannot think of any RTS game from your time frame where villagers would reproduce in a realistic fashion, except for Saga: Rage of the Vikings. Not sure if there was a demo of it though.

By seeing the suggestion I realise that I must include this was more cartoony than realistic.

Still too realistic. It had only big huts with straw roof.

It was the Baldies !!!

I remembered Baldies immediately upon reading the description, but IIRC they do not mate to reproduce in that game.

For the record, I also remembered another game from the same era where population reproduces by having actual children, Beasts & Bumpkins. That one does have a playable demo.

I've tried it again this morning it's really it. For the reproduction thing somehow spam-clicking on the bed does not work in the full game.

Thanks all for your help, I'm a big supporter for Mister and Jotego Projects and really like DOS Games I might stick around
