Can't remember the name.
I had it in a 5.25 diskette, played it around 1990-1995.
It was 7 on 7 I think.
You had a choice between US or English league.
The lower ranked teams got the most money.
The younger players had the best fitness and speed.
It had 64 teams - 4 divisions with 16 teams each.
I only remember the goalkeeper name, it was something like R. Bouy.

Maybe it's related to superstar ice hockey?
Does anyone know who is the developer?

It's definitely made by Mindscape
it is very similar to this video, with almost identical gameplay but looking more modern
