DOS Games Discussion

I remember playing this game with my sister. It was multiplayer on the same keyboard with a split screen. It was overhead view and you would go around and find various weapons and search the maze for the other player and kill them. I think the screen was dark so that you only had visibility to the area you were in. You would go around and find cool weapons and then find the other player.

What platform did you play it on? I guess a PC since you mention a keyboard, but was it DOS, Win3.x, Win9x or other?

If you played it on an FM Towns, it might be Last Survivor?

It wasn't a first person shooter it was a birds eye view of like a warehouse maze.

Was it indoors 1vs1 player character only, or did you have any vehicles/outdoors areas like in Fire Power?

There is also Liero and Liero Xtreme - some of which looks like inside areas in the screenshots. It's both top-down and side-view, but I'm unsure if there is a fog-of-war/darkness mode away from the player.

Also there are later games like the Boxhead series, some are 2-player mode, but single screen I think, I havent tried them.

I was trying to remember the name of it also, did a search under what I remembered from the game, then found your post and then I remembered it.

You mean the Finnish game Tapan Kaikki 3 (a.k.a. The Ultimate Tapan Kaikki)?

Yeh, that's it. I remembered downloading it back around 2001 from some website along with leiro.
It was called tk31 on the site back all those years ago, but from that link you sent, yes that would be it under a different name now.
I even see in the link it has TK31.
