I've been trying to find a game that I used to watch my uncle play before he died in 2006. Only one scene stuck into my brain and it was a boss fight but I cannot find anything about it.
I remember watching him play before he got sick so it would've been around 2004-2006 an it was either on the PS1, PS2, or the original Xbox. The camera was either 3rd person but really far out or set camera like in early Resident Evils. The boss I remember was fought on a concrete roof or something with iron railings surrounding the area and the boss itself was white-ish and would attack by stretching his arms across the arena. I can't really remember if the PC was male or female.
So sorry it's so vague but this has been gnawing at the back of my brain every time my boyfriend and I talk about video games we played as a kid. Any and all help would be appreciated!

It's not a game called Haunting Ground is it?
Or any of the Silent Hill games...
Or Forbidden Siren?
If it's horror I should know it but I can't think

I don't think it's haunting grounds, I didn't play that until I was around 11 or 12. It seems like either a RE or a SH. I've played Siren Blood Curse but what I'm remembering doesn't fall in the same style I guess. It may not be a boss fight but it's possible I'm remembering the Bandersnatch enemy in Code Veronica X but I swear the enemy was more slender than those.
