Getting SEA ROGUE to work on Pentium 2

Post by Simba »

I used to play a great Microprose 1992 game called SEA ROGUE on my old 486. It came with 5.25 disks and I burned them to CD. It won't work on XP and my faster computer. However recently I acquired a Pentium 2 and installed all my old dos games on that as well as Sea Rogue. When I click the bat file the introduction screen comes up but then an error "Can't access save file"
How can I get the game to play? The operating system is Win98SE.
Thanks for any help

you may not have all the files or the stuff is read only

check www.wally4000.tk and then dosgames there should be a read only section.
