Old Space Game - Late 90's - Crystals/Lights

Looking for an old space game from the mid to late 90's. You were an astronaut on an alien planet and had to find things to continue to the next level. Had to find colored crystal (Red, Yellow, Green, etc) and solve puzzles. Very ominous. Only other thing I remember was Howard Stern said it was his favorite game. Wish I could remember more but hopefully someone will recognize this game from what I described.
