Is there a folder named "SAVEGAME" in the games folder? If not, create it..

Maybe the old save games are marked as read-only. In the game's folder, click Edit >> Select All, then Right click on one of the files, click Properties, under Attributes, uncheck Read-Only. If Read-Only was already unchecked, let us know.

Maybe I can help, as I have a working version.
I'd post a sceenshot, but I can't find how to... :(

Anyway, in the OCEANTRD directory, which contains the game, there's
a folder named "GAMESAVE". In it, there's a file named SCORES~1.CFG
and the savegame files: auto.sve and game0.sve to game9.sve

If you don't have this directory, create it.

yeah sorry this is what happens exactly:
I click on the option save
Then I type in the name i want to save the game as and push enter.
Immediately after a popup comes up saying "To M.H.Baker the required file cannot be opened"
The game does not tell me a name of the file, and the setup seems to work fine for me.

Hey it worked, I too had the problem, I opened the directory with the game, and created the folder "GAMESAVE" all caps like that. Even in the middle of playing it. It saved when I went to save it just perfect. Thanks for the help guys.

Terrance.
