DOS Games Discussion

I am looking for a game, that was shareware and for early windows. You could choose what type of alien you played. There were for example dinosaurs and strawberries but also slime like creatures and you had to become the dominant species of the planet. It was round based and disasters could happen.

Anyone got an idea?
