Jungle Adventure Game

It's an action/adventure game for Windows XP, year somewhere around 2002. Somewhat reminding of Tomb Raider.

You play as an archeologist/adventurer.
It's a third person adventure game on a jungle island.
The look of the game is cartoony, with hands being almost as big as your head.

At the beginning of the game you see 'flash-forward'. It shows you the end of the game, where you fight a tiger with magical powers/flames in your hands. As the fight ends, the tiger leaps onto you and prepares to bite your head.

After the flashback ends, you find yourself on a plane flight. It's traveling through a heavy thunderstorm. Inevitably, the plane crashes (cuz lightning struck it?), with you being the only survivor(?).

As you wake up, you find yourself in a jungle, where ancient Maya-looking people live and some weird 'ancient magic' stuff happens.

And now you have to fight through a lot of jungle people, bugs and animals. And by fight i mean literally kick and punch everything and everyone.

There was also a gimmick: you could control your hand(s) to make it grab different objects, such as a flask at the start of the game that let's you heal.

Or, for example, later in the game you would get two ice sickles with which you could climb ice walls.
So you had to basically control each hand to climb the wall: first raise left hand, then right hand, and so on.

Long shot, but jungle crash plane memories are often Hugo III.

But idk the hands thing or timeframe.

"Punch and kick, control the hands" was it an early vr game?

Thaks for the reply, but that's not the game.

It was a 3D action/adventure/platformer and character models proportion-wise looked like characters from Psychonauts.
I've tried looking up various websites, including mobygames, but couldn't find it on the list.
