its a game about naval warfare but it takes place in ancient Greece it was 2d and i think u could choose different characters i think im not sure sorry and u could buy different ships to pimp out your fleet.

Note that the link had some similarly tagged groups mentioned in the description, like for Ancient Romans etc. They may have similar settings though not neccessarily Greek.

I was actually looking the same game I played when I was a kid. Im not sure if it was the same that you are talking about. Mine was you can select what nation you wanted to be, celts, greeks, persian etc. its a turn by turn strategy game. Still wondering what DOS game was it.
