Hello, the game is some sort of monster shooter, and not sure if the player is human or not, only remember that civils are also monsters, but rather cute. All sort of weapons, some of them are like form the future. Game is taking place as i remember in nice surounding, something like jungle, familliar to far cry games. I hardly can remmember one mission, that you have to take on a lot of hard-to-kill monsters, ant the way to beat that mission is to get inside a galass ball with spikes, and run over them, principal like hamsters ball.
I've played this game about 10 years ago, and just wanted to apologize if the info is wrong. It might be a third person shooter, and the year might be not correct, i'am not sure. As well as the name, i can tell you that this might be a part 2 game, because i always remembered that on the end of the name is number 2, and i think the name starts with letter S, and that is one-word-name.
