Ok heres the deal. I have monkey island 1 and 2, and kyrandia 3. I have windows XP. I cant get sound off any of em. i have VDMsound thing, and my brother worked with it for along time but no luck. I [/u]really want this to work. Help is really appriciated.[/u]

I know its been asked 10 million times, but ive tried alot, and i cant get it to work.

According to the compatibility lists, all three of those games should work okay in DOSBox:

However, for the Monkey Island games you may want to try "SCUMMVM" instead. It is a "virtual machine" specifically made for playing old Lucasarts games (Money Island, Loom, etc):
