Populous?

Hi all,
I used to play this sim game, I'm pretty sure it was called "populous". it was kind of like this game where viking sort of people tried to conquer the world, you raised and lowered the terrain and i remember little huts and stuff built up to castles. Anyone know what i'm talking about? thanks!
