Multiple Screens

When I try to run any dos games in XP, the screen is split up into four of the same screen, as if I were playing a four player game, but controlling all of them at once. This has probably been asked before, but I'm quite desperate, how do I get this to work? I've tried all the tips in the guide.

When you're in the game, try pressing Alt-Enter.
