dynamix games start up but end as soon as I touch a key

I get the demo screen and the demo plays in Aces over europe, but the second I touch anything, it closes. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Unless someone who helps here has actually experienced YOUR EXACT problem, you will ALWAYS need to provide A LOT more info. (this is often the case, perhaps this could be included in the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" thread... <hint hint>)
DOS game? Win95 game? DirectX? version? game version? latest patch? don't close on exit? compatibility mode? your computer? with sound? without sound? RT-error 200? etc etc etc...
