I am locking for a Windows old game, i played in Win XP but i don't know if the game is for win 95/98 and it is top down view.
About the game
-single or 2 player, the ship can move up, down, left, right and diagonal. It starts with several lives, 3 I think, by defeating enemies you may gain an orb, or a kind of round thing, that is a powerup, it can be blue, red, or yellow. The ship in single player is major grey, detailed red, the ship for the second player is major grey, detailed blue. I think every level had a mini boss.
Thanks for your help, and wish you a Happy new year ! =)

Some of the details reminded me of the Arcade mode in
Tyrian 2000 (coloured powerup orbs are shown
here), but you need to be more specific. Shmups are a genre with lots of titles, even on the PC. You might want to check a dedicated site like
SHMUPS.com or the extensive lists like those at Hardcore Gaming 101 (
vertical shmups,
horizontal shmups).
BTW, when you say that the ship can move diagonally, do you mean that it
turns to face a diagonal direction, or does it remain facing upwards? I'm asking because there are a lot less shmups with true 360 degree movement (where the ship is actually shown to turn and face a diagonal direction) than those where the ships always faces the same direction.

Ups, i fought that no one had awnser this post...
Well, i'm still searching for the game xDDD
This game has no 360 degree, i think i used to play it in 2003. And it's similar to Tyrian 2000 but with "better" graphics...
Sorry for the late reply
