Thanks for sharing! I'm quite interested in remixes/covers of video game music :) Could you please tell what tools you used to do that?

Here's a guy I found on YouTube recently who makes live rock covers of some classic tracks:

Thanks!!

Generally you need a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)... Most popular: Cubase, Pro Tools, Logic, Sonar, Reaper, etc...
I'm using Sonar... but i.e. Reaper is free if you use it for personal purpose...
Second thing you need is package of "Virtual Instruments"... witch are a form of plug-ins to your DAW...
For symphonic parts I use Cinesamples (quite expensive ones) but there are some free or cheaper libraries available...
For drums I use Addictive Drums...
For synths there is lots of free plugins, or you just get them in bundle with DAW...
Guitars and Bass are live recordings... but there are also some VI available...
... last ingredient is a bit of musical talent and persistence...

For example I work with these things for almost 15 years and still there is a lot to learn... so Good Luck :D

Wow, that rocks. Morrowind was my first game soundtrack I actually listened to outside the game (well, some Crusader: NR MODs, too). I so loved the progression of themes they used from Morrowind to Oblivion.

Awesome link! Wish I could play piano like that musician, too!
