Well, in response to your vote for open source:

Since I am getting funded by welfare openly so I have to give openly.

So I guess I am going back to Borland Turbo C 2.01 instead of Borland C++

It contains the entire source for Borland Turbo Assembler 4.1 too.

Anyways, I am hoping I am still good enough for "production" all 100 years.

Thanks MrFlibble.

I guess the game would not be complete without an exit.

So I just added a little game over message to the game.

I was thinking, if Thor can move vertically across the screen, what if there are projectiles coming from the opposite side at him (ice shards thrown by ice giants?), and the objective is to to destroy the shards with the hammer?

That way the player would have to 1) align Thor with the current projectile (assuming they are generated at random positions on the far side of the screen) and 2) shoot it down in time.

For a challenge, the projectiles may have different movement speed, or it can gradually increase as more projectiles are shot down (although random speed seems more challenging).

Points can be awarded for each successfully destroyed projectile.

The game difficulty can be then varied with the following parameters:
- projectile movement speed,
- frequency with which new projectiles are generated,
- the number of projectiles that can move simultaneously on the screen.

You are always thinking out of the box.

Great insights.

The programming for this "shouldn't" be too much work.

I just have to find the time to rest enough to get it done.

My shoulders, neck, and back are still sore from mowing my grasses.

I am still feeling the ache as I type and move around after two or three days

This manual mower is really a workout hehe

Jesus, Mary (mother of God), God himself, and Buddha hehe

Well, today I honour my father and especially my mother with this game.

It has Thor and Superman fighting the Ice Giants.

If you reach 100 or more Ice Giants you win the game.

The poor ice giants have no fighting chance just standing there and waiting to be smashed by the hammer.

Also Superman flew over one giant and erased him from the screen, but I didn't get a score for that and had to launch the hammer where the ice giant had been standing, as Superman effectively made him invisible.

As the hammer travels at a constant speed, maybe each giant would move up and down at random speeds? Then the player would have to time the launch of the hammer to hit them.

My mind is taxed doing what I've done.

Believe it or not while people do a game once and over with I keep working.

Some people work and get paid for making games.

I don't see a penny for my work.

In fact the only pay I get is for my disability.

Anyways, I'm just complaining I guess when I get stressed out.

That is easy for me to get stressed out.

However, the concept comes to mind easy enough.

It is in the actual making it happen that where is the hard part.

I started this giant section yesterday.

Then stopped to have some quality time with my mom.

Slept and woke at three in the morning to come out with it.

After breakfast and such after more sleeping in and talking with my mom.

I found a few glitches and fixed it and came out with it.

Now I have a demands for more? hehe

Some people are so ungrateful. hehe j/k - Just kidding.

Don't take me too serious.

It is a hard job however it seems I'm the only one who can pull it off now.

Everyone else is doing Nintendo, SEGA, Atari, Microsoft, and such. hehe

Well, to ease you mind I do appreciate the feedbacks and comments.

I was thinking about the ice obstacles.

However it takes time for me to make little improvements.

Depending on how much I am asked to do it may never come out.

Don't worry - Jesus has good stuffs through me all the time I am sure!

Well, it is kind of early.

However, I implemented the moving Ice Giant.

It is very difficult to target.

You until you adjust to the slightly varying speeds you may have challenge.

Okay, here you have it @MrFlibble - you asked for it.

So here Superman comes into play.

Superman is superfast so he can catch up to the Ice Giant(s).

Thor has got to be the guy doing the ground work.
