There is one game that I cannot remind myself. RPG probably on Amiga.
Actually I didn't even like it, but there was some screens that I would like to see again.
Now, here are pictures from my memory:
- a train at the begining,
- probably a boy looking for something/someone,
- the story was highly going around disappeared old mechanical constructor, whose "art" could be find when the boy? was proceeding
- a mechanical horse(?), dragon(?) with all pulleys as a mechanical attraction or roundabout was found by the boy(?) - it was a trace of the constructor.

I think I was playing it in early '90s or late '80.

One more think: It's possible that the title starts with "S" or kind of "Sib". It was probably one word or three: "x...x of S...".
Although, my memory can be deceptive.

I'm sorry for overposting. I cannot edit the first post and some memories are coming back.

Game was around a mistery to be solved. Something about genious old constructor. Mechanical construction of the horse was powered by stream (I can be wrong). It was made of silver color steel. Climate was like on wild west.

No time or turns.

I remember there was a PC game that sounds crazy similar to what you're looking for, but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Gonna msg my mum and see if she knows!

Is the one you're looking for definitely on the Amiga?

No worries on the multiple posts. It's better to come back with more information than to not bother posting it - we're not gonna hold it against you.

No. I was using 8-bit Atari -> Amiga -> PC. Could be PC in '90s.
That was kind of a game where you were playing with mouse pointer and looking for clues on the screen. There was no walking hero or inventory (probably). Just pictures.

So, it's more of an adventure game than an rpg?
Still pictures, no in-game animation? 2D/3D environment?
Perhaps pre-rendered intro/movies?
Viewed from side, or top-down?
Environment futuristic, steampunk, or ancient?

Some Myst-like game perhaps?

Yes, more adventure then RPG I think
Mostly still pictures with some in-game animation (rare). I only remember that parts of the horse/dragon was moving (2d pictures).
2D environment with panoramic/perspective view and side view
As I said before wild west climate, non-futuristic, XVIII or XIX century: a train, a bar. Possibly steampunk, but not too much of it.
Myst like operating, simpler graphics and animation.

I got it. Thank you for your help.
Part of my description was deceptive. Do you want me to give the answer or would you like to guess? :)

Parts of your description kind of match Syberia, except it was released about 10 years later than the time frame of your game.

Almost perfect. That's the image that was in my head:

And that's what made me thing about that image:

Hope it was interesting for you. Riddle solved. Thank you.
