DOS Games Discussion

I have d/led a few dosgames and only 2 out of 7 work. I am some what disappointed and really bored. I am using WinXP. The game seems to work but i can't see whether it is. The game seems to be stretched out horizontally and repeting downwards. After exiting it says that there has been a srious error and must restart, my comp then changes size and looks like Safe Mode (except it's...not). After restarting it says that the error has been reolved.

go into your video card settings and toggle your verticle-sync to always off. if your verticle sync is on (which it sounds like it is) then that is what the problem is
