Looking for an old 2D platform DOS stick-figure game from around 1997.

You were a little stick man fighting stick figure robots that would drop onto the screen. It had a plane white background.

One of the robots was a steam roller and if you got hit it was crudely gruesome, lots of blood.

Any idea what this game is?

StixWorld comes very close, being a stick-figure platformer from 1998, but it completely lacks gore of any kind.

I've been looking for this game off an on for 15 years now. I remember it was RR.exe. Played it on Win3.11. The game started and there was a bit of a cut scene where the robots killed your family. You can get steam rolled, your head cut off by a flying saw blade, and shot. Whenever you die, lots of red blood oozed out. I think red was the only vibrant color.

I can't recall playing any stickfigure games, except some of the Xiao-Xiao series, which were mostly flashgames (and animated movies) found on some website...they were bloody enough, but not something you had to download to the PC.

There is also a game series called 'Stickman Sam' (1-4 released 2005-2006, so probably too late for the OP) which has some gore, white background in the first 3 games, and some vehicles according to the description here:
